Op 23 oktober 2015 promoveerde N. van der Linden aan de Erasmus Universiteit op het proefschrift getiteld ‘The use of real-world data in lung and head and neck oncology’. Het onderzoek werd verricht op het ‘institute for Medical Technology Assessment’ (iMTA) onder begeleiding van prof. dr. C.A. Uyl-de Groot. Het proefschrift toont het belang van dagelijkse praktijkinformatie over behandelingen tegen longkanker en hoofd-halskanker.
