In oktober 2024 is de eerste Nederlandse evidencebased richtlijn voor galweg- en galblaascarcinoom verschenen. Deze richtlijn vervangt de consensusbased richtlijn uit 2013. Alle 12 modules zijn nieuw of samengesteld met aanbevelingen uit de oude richtlijnen en vervangen de oude modules. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste aanbevelingen en veranderingen samengevat en vergeleken met internationale richtlijnen en literatuur.
